Social Dreaming and Visual Matrix
With Dr Hayley Burman
Saturday 19th July 2025
10am – 1pm
Beethoven Centre, Third Avenue, London W10 4JL

In this elaborated Social Dreaming matrix, we will share night-time dreams, free associations and images, responding to our social, organisational and personal resonance with the theme: Belonging or Fragmentation.
We will have visual, metaphoric and image -based conversations. We will be moving between conscious and unconscious language allowing the emergence of new feelings and thinking. This group formation offers a barometer of where we are and where we are going.
It begins to elaborate methods of coming to know. We return to a time when communities gathered to talk about their dreams, to create together, play together and dream together. This process facilitates participants creative and collaborative abilities and potential.
We will move between a formation called a ‘matrix’, individual space for creative reflection and a return to the larger group. In this large group we will continue to free associate with our shared images and co-create links and threads of what the social unconscious of the group is communicating. Perhaps we may get closer to an understanding of our sense of fragmentation and belonging and the challenge in containing organisations in these complex times.
