Marie Clutton

Marie is therapy manager at Amberleigh Care which operates two TCs for teenage boys with sexually harmful behaviour. Marie has been a community member at Amberleigh for over 16 years. She has worked in therapeutic childcare for 23 years and her background is working with children and managing in residential care. Marie oversees all therapeutic community processes over Amberleigh’s 2 accredited TC’s and facilitates group dynamics space and clinical supervision for all members. Marie’s work involves close working relationships with all care, therapy and education staff and group work with the young people. Her role is a key part in bringing the holistic components together for the TC to grow and develop. Marie represents the 2 accredited TC’s in many external events and involved in research projects. Marie is qualified in leadership and management, childcare, trained in DDP therapy, AIM3, Counselling, group work, clinical supervision, a Team Teach tutor, TC specialist and currently studying group analysis with GAN. Marie is currently co-chair of TCTC’s Children & Young People Sector Interest Group.
